Together with its partners Cardano and Fidelity International, Nomura Asset Management Co., Ltd. (NAM) sponsored Green PRAXIS, a nature-based solution provider, to conduct bioacoustic research. The study used bioacoustic technology to measure biodiversity levels within a palm oil concession. The research enables access to data in real time, and represents the first step in building a reliable tool to measure progress toward biodiversity conservation goals.
NAM will continue to support research to build this tool and support the biodiversity conservation efforts and sustainable growth of the companies in which we invest.
