As a member of the Nomura Group, Nomura Asset Management operates this website in accordance with the Nomura Group Web Accessibility Policy.
The Nomura Group adheres to our founder's principles of always putting the customer first and staying one step ahead. With respect to its Web sites too, the Nomura Group follows these principles and strives to place the highest priority on its customers' interests and to provide information and services that go one step further.
The Nomura Group makes every effort to ensure and enhance the accessibility of its Web sites in compliance with the policies set forth below to enable access of its information and services by the maximum number of customers.
Accessibility refers to the concept of enabling the elderly, disabled persons, and persons who are temporarily-disabled to use services in the same manner as all users.

1. Providing information and services that can be used by as many customers as possible

In recent years, standards and legislation for Web accessibility have been developed across the world as the Internet has become increasingly utilized by a broad range of individuals. Japan is no exception, and JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) regarding Web accessibility were established in June 2004.
Nomura Group will make every effort to ensure that more customers, including the elderly, disabled persons, and temporarily-disabled persons are able to easily access all Nomura Group Web sites.

2. Consideration for diverse users

Difficulties accessing services may occur because of, for example, age, disability, use environment and so on. Such difficulties may include the inability to see or difficulty seeing the screen, the inability to hear or difficulty hearing sounds, difficulty operating or interacting with Web content using a mouse or keyboard, and difficulty in understanding site content.

We will do our best to provide all customers the equal ability to access the information and services provided on our Web sites.

3. Compatibility with varied customer use environments

The circumstances under which customers access our Web sites have become increasingly diverse. Individuals now access our Web sites using varied Internet connections and telecommunication devices, types and versions of browsers, and support technologies (such as Braille tools for Web content, screen magnifiers, and alternatives to mice and keyboards).

We strive to provide trouble-free customer access under any access environment.

4. Nomura Group Web Accessibility Guidelines

Nomura Group Web sites are designed in accordance with our own guidelines, which are based on the following public guidelines, in order to ensure and enhance accessibility.

  • JIS X 8341-3
    A JIS guideline designed for the elderly, disabled persons, and others. Adopted in Japan on June 20, 2004.
  • W3C/WAI WCAG 1.0 and 2.0
    (Web Content Accessibility Guideline by W3C, a standards body for Web technology. Version 1.0 was published in May, 1999 and version 2.0 was published in December 2008. This site will comply with new WCAG 2.0 standards.)
  • Section 508 of Rehabilitation Act
    A law applicable to federal agencies in the United States that came into effect on June 21, 2001.
